Chilled on All Hallows Eve
Need a Saturday Appointment?
Happy Halloween!

Although I might be grumpy about the cold in about a month or so, I was so pleased for the rain last night and to wake up to a chilly bedroom with heavy clouds in the sky early this morning. I hope you all enjoy a seasonally appropriate spooky season this weekend. This has been an interesting month, taking a step back from the regular routines and experiencing a couple of fun events. We attended Banya Fest in Minnesota, and it was SPECTACULAR. If you are a sauna enthusiast, I highly recommend the easy drive up there early October and receiving the wonderful Slavic sauna treatments and hospitality they have to offer. Let me know if you need help planning that.
I attended a stunning art exhibit at the Beach Museum of Art at K-State a couple of weeks ago. If you are into textiles and environmentalism, I highly recommend checking it out. It goes through until the solstice of December 21st. Return To Prairie explores the intersection of native prairie plant dyes, fashion and Green Burial awareness. I was so inspired by the work of Dr. Sherry Haar! The wonderful Sarah Crews will be offering a presentation on her green cemetery Heart Land Prairie Cemetery this coming Thursday evening, offering a great opportunity to see the exhibit and learn more about the importance of green burial. 5:30-6:30pm, see link above for info.
Please text me at 785-393-0966 if you would like to request a Saturday Massage Appointment at the Home Studio! Lots of weekend appointments coming available at Mud & Lotus as well.
