Daylight!
Meet us in Panama for X-Mas!
Hello again friends.
I am writing this on the evening of daylight savings, about a month later than had anticipated. In the past month I started a new job, two days later tested positive for Covid, spent several weeks recovering from Covid while learning a new job, and am now starting to feel like I can see straight again. Good news is, I feel better and I love my new job as a Project Manager at Cromwell Environmental. And that’s all I want to talk about, is the good news. You get it.
I decided to start this new platform because my other newsletter platform was created specifically for my travel advising purposes, and is also “owned” by Fora, not myself. The newsletters I wrote prior to that, which is what most of my subscribers are familiar with, somehow became defunct and I was not able to access it any longer. Most of my people are not as interested in the Fora created content, so I wanted to start fresh, speak through my own voice and create content that feels authentic to me personally. While I still have access to booking trips and such, my new position keeps me in front of the computer screen and indoors all day and week, so my free time needs to be just that - more free.
I am however, planning to a host a group trip to Panama for the holiday season with my partner. Billy Beeson. Together, we will take travelers on a curated journey which will include nature excursions, hikes in the jungle, beautiful accommodations, chef prepared meals and libations, a sunset ocean cruise, surfing opportunities, hands on ceramics time, and so much more. If you would like to learn more about this, you can find it here. PANAMA FESTIVE 2024!
I am cutting this one this one short, but please stay tuned in the next coming weeks for words and feelings about how the bees are doing, our new Burr Oak seedings, my amazing time at Jalu Bathhouse, and a new feature coming with book recommendations.
Until then, xo.
