Holiday Time

gift certificate inquiries and updates

I just hopped on here to send out an update, only to realize I never hit publish on my last one reminding anyone who might have been interested in the Vinland Valley Nursery Plantaland Holiday Market this past weekend. Oops! It was a success though, and we hope to participate next year. I wasn’t sure how much product I would end up with, but I have plenty left over if anyone would like to make a purchase. Here is an attached menu of items.

Gift Certificates!
If you are looking for a traditional gift certificate for a massage, you can purchase those at Mud & Lotus, and they can book with me. For the past several years, I have not offered gift certificates. If you would prefer to gift someone a massage at my home, I can send you an invoice once they have scheduled. This eliminates the stress for me in the event I were to become injured, sick, (or you know, leave the country - wink) and wouldn’t be able to deliver the work and have to refund.

2025 Pricing
Now that I am back to massage full time as my primary source of income, I have determined I need to raise my prices at my home studio to reflect those closer to a market value price. For the past two years, I have kept them around 20% below the rest of Lawrence. I will no longer be accepting tips in an effort to offset this markup and to eliminate that part of the service transaction. These changes will begin January 1st. If you have already scheduled out past January, the service will reflect the new price at check-out. If anything needs to be cancelled due to this, I completely understand and please do so in advance. There will be no changes to the Milk & Honey Masque and Dreaming with Bees session.

Fire Cupping Massage

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend. Ours was busy, but good. This time of year is always reflective, and this Mercury in Retrograde has been particularly full of introspection.

What has surfaced thus far -
I vow to stop complaining so much.
I vow to speak with a kinder, more intentional voice.
I vow to not fall prey to martyrdom.
Fingers crossed, folks.

Until next time,

Cara
